Return & Refund Policy – Merchku

At Merchku, all products are made-to-order (print-on-demand). This means each item is produced specifically after your order is placed. Because of this, our return and refund policy is slightly different from traditional retail stores.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We only accept returns or offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • The item is damaged, defective, or misprinted
  • You received the wrong item, size, or color
  • The product does not match the order details

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do NOT accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Wrong size selected by customer
  • Personal preference (design/color expectation)

2. Return Timeframe

  • You must submit a return/refund request within 14 days after receiving your order
  • Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible

3. How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact us with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the item (showing issue)
  • Description of the problem

⚠️ Do NOT send items back without contacting us first.

4. Resolution Options

If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following:

  • Free replacement (preferred option)
  • Full refund (if replacement is not possible)

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

5. Return Shipping

  • If the issue is our fault (damaged, wrong item, defect):
    → We cover all costs (no return needed in most cases)
  • If return is approved:
    → We will provide instructions

6. Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • It may take additional time depending on your payment provider

7. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be canceled within 6 hours after purchase
  • After production starts, orders cannot be canceled

8. Important Notes

  • All items are made-to-order, so replacements are handled case-by-case
  • Slight differences in color due to screen settings are not considered defects
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our policy
